Essential Earl Scruggs

Bluegrass legend Earl Scruggs has passed away at the age of 88. His work with Bill Monroe and Lester Flatt set the standard for Bluegrass banjo. He played an essential role in developing and creating Bluegrass and modern country music. Here are a few of his all time recordings. His five string banjo playing is essential in any music collection.
